"The Facsimile" 

 Premise: 

 In a near-future world, a cutting-edge social media platform called "Facsimile" allows users to share their memories directly with others. When a young journalist investigates the sudden disappearance of a prominent influencer who was beta-testing the platform, she discovers that "Facsimile" has a dark secret: it can manipulate and implant memories, erasing or rewriting people’s pasts. 

 As she delves deeper, she realizes the platform’s creators are using it to control public opinion, erase dissent, and eliminate anyone who threatens their power. But when she tries to expose the truth, she finds her own memories have been altered—and she can no longer trust her own mind. 

 Twist:

 The journalist’s investigation reveals that she was once a high-ranking employee of "Facsimile" who volunteered to have her memories wiped to escape the guilt of her role in the platform’s sinister agenda.
